Titre : 15 - décembre 2021 - Print It Yourself! Type de document : texte imprimé Année de publication : 2021 Importance : [24] p. Présentation : ill. en coul. Format : 30 x 21 cm Prix : 12 EUR Note générale : Seconde version. Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Fanzines Résumé : This issue shows an on-going research about projects present on line to be printed by the readers. The first version was published in an edition of 50 for Book Brutality curated by Emma Cozzani and Mathieu Tremblin at Syndicat Potentiel in Strasbourg in December 2021. Taking a candid shot at reinventing the outdated model of the art book or zine fair, Book Brutality invited mostly artists publishers who question the supposed dichotomy between IRL and URL, for workshops, discussions, exhibitions and talks; transforming the event into a lively moment of production and conviviality. The second version includes a 12 page web to print contribution created by the artist and cyberwitch Lucile Olympe Haute. [n° ou bulletin]
Titre : 16 - juin 2022 - Housewife Special Type de document : texte imprimé Année de publication : 2022 Importance : 31 p. Présentation : ill. en noir et en coul. Format : 30 x 21 cm Prix : 12 EUR Langues : Français (fre) Tags : Fanzines Paris Lesbianisme Résumé : This 16th issue of ARTZINES is dedicated to the French zine Housewife created in Paris at the turn of the millennium by Axelle Le Dauphin and Dana Wyse for the cult lesbian club Le Pulp. I first met the artist Dana Wyse (p. 4-7) and was very intrigued by her art and wondered what kind of person could have created this hilarious body of work. But it is only years after I first interviewed her that she told me about the publication she made a long time ago. She introduced me to Axelle Le Dauphin and the three of us wondered if it should be considered as a zine, a fanzine or a magazine. (p. 8-16) Obviously, this kind of interogation ends up being even more confusing. But meeting the two creators together, can help to understand the kind of craziness that was at play in Housewife. In her brilliant article Housewife, La Redistribution du sensible (p. 24-31) translated as Housewife, Tongue in Chick (p. 18-23) by Amy Lay-Pelletier, Elisabeth Lebovici manages to retraces the series of event that led to the creation of Housewife, which forever changed the way lesbians are perceived in France.[source éditeur] Permalink : http://www.noccan.org/cla/opac_css/index.php?lvl=bulletin_display&id=128 [n° ou bulletin] 16 - juin 2022 - Housewife Special [texte imprimé] . - 2022 . - 31 p. : ill. en noir et en coul. ; 30 x 21 cm.

Format : 24 x 28 cm ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-3-89955-336-9 Prix : 39 € Note générale : Zines and their role as a catalyst in the evolution of media and graphic design today.
Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : fanzines auto éditions Résumé : Behind the Zines introduces a cutting-edge selection of international zines and examines their role as a catalyst in the evolution of media and graphic design today. The book presents the broad range of existing zines that combine thought-provoking content with compelling design: from project-oriented portfolios and (pseudo) scientific treatises to playrooms where creatives can run riot and publications in which the printing process significantly influences aesthetics. It not only describes the key factors that distinguish various zines, but—through interviews with people involved in their production and distribution—also sheds light on various strategies for this evolving media form.
